Abstract

Ovaj se diplomski rad bavi fragmentiranjem prostora u slici – autorica će pobliže pojasniti što ta sintagma predstavlja njoj, odakle crpi inspiraciju te što znači za njezino likovno stvaralaštvo. Glavni je motiv svih autorskih slikovnih priloga diplomskoga rada autoričin vrt odnosno, okućnica i dvorište. Autorica najprije fotografira te potom slaže fragmente dvorišta pokušavajući zarobiti osjećaj koji taj prostor pobuđuje u njoj. Fragmentiranje se odnosi na bilježenje dijelova vrta kako vrijeme odmiče i na promjene koje autorica uočava, a odvijaju se za vrijeme godišnjih doba ili u određenom trenutku u danu. Autorica spaja trenutke u nešto novo, od malog prostora stvara veći, idealan. Naravno, autorica inspiraciju za stvaranje slikarskih djela traži u djelima drugih umjetnika te u njihovu odnosu prema navedenoj tematici. U ovom će se diplomskome radu autorica baviti temom vrta u odabranim umjetničkim djelima, ali i umjetnicima koji su dijelili sličnu strast prema vrtovima.

Abstract (english)

In this thesis the author will be working on fragmenting the space itself in a picture. She will be explaining what it means for her, where does her inspiration come from and what all of the above means for her creative outlet. Main motive of all the paintings from this final work is author’s garden, that is, whole garden plot that surrounds her house. The author herself takes photographs of the fragments of garden which she then composes in way where she somewhat tries to capture the feeling which that space triggered. The word fragmenting in the title is related to catching fragments of time and shifts that happen throughout the seasons, as well as through the day – the author connects those moments into something new and creates a bigger space from a smaller one. The inspiration for author’s paintings is found in other artist’s works, mostly in the way in which they approached the topic of the garden. In that way, this thesis will touch on such topic through certain art pieces, as well as through artist who shared the same passion as the author does.
