Abstract

Diplomski rad „Beštija“ je šestominutni kratki animirani film izrađen u tehnici digitalne 2D animacije. Radi se o narativnom filmu čiji je cilj prikazati kompleksnost odnosa između majke i kćeri, sukoba starog i novog svijeta te problema potiskivanja vlastitih emocija i želja kroz likove majke i kćeri i jedne male namrgođene curice. Želja mi je kroz ovu kratku formu prikazati ono što ja smatram velikim problemom u odnosima ne samo između majke i kćeri nego i između ljudi generalno. Najveći izazov izrade ovoga filma bit će prenošenje ideje kroz tu dinamiku majke i kćeri i male djevojčice koje treba dobro okarakterizirati u kratkom vremenu.

Abstract (english)

The thesis project "Beštija" is a six-minute short animated film created using digital 2D animation techniques. It is a narrative film aimed at portraying the complexity of the relationship between a mother and daughter, the clash between the old and new worlds, and the issue of suppressing one's emotions and desires through the characters of the mother, daughter, and a small grumpy girl. My goal is to depict what I consider to be a significant problem in relationships not only between mother and daughter but also among people in general. The greatest challenge in making this film will be conveying the idea through the dynamics of the mother, daughter, and little girl, who need to be well-characterized within a short period.
