Abstract

Ovaj rad istražuje potencijal naglašene upotrebe stripa na nastavi Likovne kulture i kao alata za učitelje i kao sredstva izražavanja i učenja za učenike. Nastava likovne kulture je u današnjem odgojno-obrazovnom sustavu maksimalno marginalizirana. Učenici u takvom sustavu razumljivo mogu početi shvaćati satove Likovne kulture kao nešto sporedno ili nevažno te pristupati svojem umjetničkom izražavanju sa manjkom entuzijazma. Cilj ovog rada bio je otkriti može li se strip – grana umjetnosti tradicionalno omiljena mlađim uzrastima – iskoristiti u nastavi u većoj mjeri nego što je trenutačno zastupljen, a u svrhu poticanja angažmana kod učenika za nove nastavne sadržaje. Istraživanje je provedeno kvalitativnom metodom sa instrumentima osmišljenim da budu usklađeni sa ciljevima istraživanja. Istraživanje je potvrdilo očekivane rezultate, pokazavši da učenici kroz medij stripa mogu svladati različite zadatke te da im strip nastavni sadržaj predstavlja u sistematiziranom, jasnom obliku. Bitno je poticati strast za umjetnost u djece pa ako ona postoji za strip, treba je staviti u službu odgoju i obrazovanju.

Abstract (english)

This thesis explores the potential of an increased use of comics in art class, both as a tool for the teachers, and as means of expression and learning for the students. The current education system has seen art class being marginalized in the extreme. Students learning in such a system can easily come to see art classes as something secondary or irrelevant, and engage in their artistic expression with little enthusiasm. The purpose of this research was to determine if comics – an art form traditionally beloved by the youth – can be used in the classroom in a greater extent than it is now, with the aim to bolster student participation in learning new curriculum. This qualitative research was conducted by using instruments devised to align with the aims of the research. The research confirmed the anticipated results, showing that students can master various tasks through the medium of comics, which present the lessons in a systematic, streamlined form. Fostering a love for the arts in children is an important responsibility, so if they are already inclined towards comics, that fondnes should be used as a tool for education.
