Abstract

U ovom diplomskom radu istražuje se proces slikanja upotrebom sinestezije s glazbom i utjecajem društva na cjelokupni dugogodišnji rad. Kroz ciklus radova nastalih u određenom vremenskom periodu istražuju se promjenjivi pristupi u radu, odnosi boje i njihova uloga u sinesteziji s glazbom te oblici koji nastaju u međusobnoj komunikaciji slikarstva i suvremene tehnologije. Naglasak u procesu rada jest sukob iracionalnog i racionalnog stanja svijesti tokom stvaranja, te dovođenje tih segmenata u ravnotežu u radu. Proces rada podijeljen je u tri faze, prva faza jest slikanje na platnu akrilnim bojama, druga faza je digitalno slikanje na računalu, a treća je faza montaža zvuka i stvaranje stop animacije kao završni proces. Izazov koji pruža slikanje dojma društva i atmosfere koju glazba pruža postavlja pitanja na koja je teško pronaći objektivan odgovor, stoga će u diplomskom radu biti zastupljeno samo subjektivno mišljenje potkrijepljeno umjetnicima koji su prije ovog rada istraživali slične interese.

Abstract (english)

This graduate thesis examines the process of painting by using sinesthesia with music and the influence of surroundings on the long-term work as a whole. Through the cycle of works, created over a certain period of time, changing approaches to work and the relationships of colours and their role in sinethetic relationship to music are being explored, as well as the forms created in the mutual communication of painting and modern technologies. The emphasis in the work is the clash of irrational and rational state of consciousness during the process of creation, and bringing these segments into balance in the art work. The working process is divided into three phases, the first stage is painting on canvas with acrylic colors, the second phase is digital painting on the computer and the final phase is the montage of the sound and the creation of stop animation. Challenges provided by painting society and the atmosphere that music provides pose questions to which is hard to find an objective answer, so the graduate thesis will represent only the subjective opinion elaborated by works and writings of relevant artists who have been researching similar interests before this paper.
